Environmental monitoring group is part of Department of Dosimetry and Application of Ionizing Radiation of Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering. 

Working group research and educational activities are focused on the area of environmental monitoring, radon measurement, dosimetry and gamma spectrometry, airborne monitoring and application of radiation detection and dosimetry in the fields of radiation protection, decommissioning, homeland security and nuclear safety. Development of methods of the measuring methodology and data analysis, processing and interpretation is supported by Monte Carlo simulations applications. 

The group participates in the solution of Grant projects in the mentioned areas, cooperate with other groups and departments at the university as well as research institutes and international cooperation. Students of master's and doctoral programs are involved in our research activities and scientific projects.
